Motorcycle Training Seriously Safe
Motorcycles are pretty cool and thats a fact thats hard to deny. Perhaps these images of two wheeled wonders have forever been immortalised by the movies of Hollywood and our TV screens. Whether it is a movie about Hells Angels and masses of Harley Davidson motorbikes or maybe the speed sensations of Moto GP or even perhaps the tricks and jumps of the X Games, motorbikes are perceived as something cool!
I have to confess that the thought of the sun blazing down and hitting the open roads of America on a large motorcycle, taking in the amazing scenery at a pretty leisurely and self determined pace is more than a little appealing.

It is not difficult to be sympathetic with this view, especially when you hear some of the heartbreaking stories, but there is light at the end of the tunnel for those that still pursue the motorcycle dream.
Safety standards, especially in the UK, have been improved no end in the past couple of decades and as a result, both the roads and those that ride on them have become much safer.
With compulsory training now a prerequisite before any rider can even put rubber to road, everything is being done to prepare each individual for every circumstance and situation that they may find themselves in once they have left the confines of their garage.
Theory tests are also now compulsory for those on two wheels, just as they have been for four wheeled vehicles for some time.
The best place to acquire all the skills and knowledge needed, under the safe supervision of trained professionals is a motorcycle training centre. There are plenty of these around the country, so hopefully you wont have to travel too far to find the nearest one to you.
Many of the training centres have large open spaces, where controlling and handling of your bike can be perfected and response time can be sharpened and awareness honed. In addition to the basic training, very often appropriate gear will be provided, such as helmets and other safety clothing as well as the bikes themselves, although using your own is usually an option too.
So, yes motorbikes are cool, but its very important to be safe as well as cool!
